Kiran smiled darkly, "Well, I adore history. It's frowned upon now, like a reminder of plagues and slavery and war, but they say if humans always make the same mistakes. Anyone who thinks our paradise will last is deluded."
He shifted, "I want to take a position teaching history but to do that I need to get into college and all the spots are being taken for the down-trodden sapiens."
Kiran coughed. "Not that I don't agree that humans have normally gotten a bad deal." He waited for the cop car to pass.
"I just hate sacrificing my talent on the altar of equality."

He ignoredteh fallen Rogue and walked on by himself. His mind was deep in thought. He really didn't notice much around himself.
(sorry for the short post, I've got no one to interact with)

Kiran motioned for Teisha to pull over. There was an aged man collapsed on the sidewalk not far from a battered brunette. "Hey is that your dad? We better stop and check, Teish."
As Kiran exited the car, he bumped into a dark haired man. The man was odd, he had the look of someone taken from power and he didn't wear the government issue uniforms. Kiran also thought he looked vaguely familiar but shrugged it off.

He looked down at the girl with a small nod. He kept going on and walked toward a small restaurant.

Teisha dragged her Dad to the car, "I knew it! I knew he would get in trouble some day!" He was stocky and very heavy. Teisha popped open the car door, trying to get him into the car.

"Teisha, I'll see you later. I'm sure you want time with your father." Kiran said. Truthfully, he hated the sight of blood and if there was a chance there might be some, it was better to make a quick exit than stand here and embarrass himself.
He waved, smiling with false brightness and scurried away. She might not forgive him but at least she wouldn't think of him as some kind of wimp.
