Tyrone had watched the entire thing, everything happened so fast. With a shout of rage a Shadow grew over him like a cloak and he rushed forward, His body completely black shadows. "Stop." Cloak growled, "She's done, leave her!" He passed in front of the poor woman's body. His black cloak spreading out to protect the fallen mutant.

" I kept trying to leave her, but she wants to die. she seemed convinced I would kill her as I did many on the past. I tried to tell her that was no longer the case, but she insisted. " he said non-chalantly.
Cloak stepping before Gabriel did little to stop the torment, it only let cloak feel the heat radiating from her body. He had so come into his powers in space, he could've been a mile away and contniue his 'attack'.
" Do I know you? Your abilities look somewhat familiar? " He thingyed his head slightly as he waited for an answer.

"I am Cloak and you are going to leave this woman alone. She is in no condition to bother you, so leave." Cloak threatened, drifting closer to him and rising higher in the air. "I said to leave." Ty hadn't spoken to anyone like this in years, it wasn't something he missed having to do.

His left eye was glowing just a bit. He looked at Cloak with an amused look. Someone actually having the balls to tell him what to do. His powers was flowing, how easily it might be to add another death to his long list.
He caught himself. He didn't need to fight every superpowered individual about. He looked at the man, then at the half bodied, woman in tortured silence behind him.
"If she attacks me again, there will be nothing left of her.... or you, if you defend her again. " he said with distain.
He released his power so she could scream and be heard, as her body was left to it's healing job.
He turned and began to walk away.

Cloak almost attacked the jerk. He glared for a moment, his darkness screaming to wipe the man out of existence. Cloak settled onto his feet and allowed the hood to slip back into shadow so he could see the woman better. "Y-you should pick your fights a bit better." His stutter acting up again. He knelt down in the road beside the mutilated woman. Her body seemed to be slowly healing, so Ty just stayed beside her, hoping she'd live. The dark cloak drifted into nothing and he was back in his grey jumpsuit and coat. He was going to be late for dinner.

Rogue could feel her toes. The moment that happened, she forced herself to her feet. She glared down at her rescuer.
"You're letting him get away. You had no right to interfer. He is the devil hisself and if I don't stop him, lots more people are going to die!"
She held a hand to her waist, cupping her almost healed wounds. Everything still ached but she was functioning.
She lurched forward, seeking Vulcan. And his death.

"The man t-turned you inside out and boiled you lady. Calm down..." Tyrone was worried now, every once in a while villains decided they were bored and started killing people. Ty didn't want to let a murderer wander away to kill again. But, this wasn't a fight he had to get in on. He could go home, eat some strange casserole his wife had made and visit around the dinner table. "Okay, listen, I don't know what he did, but, you can't t-t-t-take him on by yourself. The police will take care of it. You can't fight him, you will die. Don't you have people who want you to live?" Tyrone tried to stop her wobbly pursuit of the man, and placed a hand on her shoulder. Mama's never gonna believe what I did today...She's gonna tell me I need to get home from work quicker so I don't get into trouble then force me to eat her disgusting casserole. Life is so strange.
Ty got in front of the woman again, " H-hold up now, and calm down."

"For ya'll's information, Ah don't got anyone and the life of a hero never means nothin'. In case ya forgot!" She shoved at him. "Ah don't have the luxury of calming down. That man is no-good and apparently, no one else cares. Ya think the police can stop him? Imagine what happened to me a dozen times over without the healing abilities. He murdered his own brothers in cold-blood and he didn't shed one itty-bitty tear. He's heartless and implacable and if Ah gotta die to stop him than Ah will."
Rogue was angry now. She hated people who had the happy normal lives and spent their time sticking their heads in the sand.
She glared at Ty and then smiled. "We'll...since you ain't gonna help me. Ah'll help mahself." She put a bare hand to his weathered cheek.

The young woman led her father down the streets she was giving him the grand tour of the neighbourhood she had moved to it was the first time in her life she was further then a five minute walk from his home. She was hoping he approved because she hoped he would sell his loft and move in with her, he had looked after her as a child now it was her turn to care for him as he was an old man. He was once a superhero/villian always standing on the edge only fighting on the side he thought was good or paid better, she never critisized her father but by todays standards fighting crime in tight suits was a bit odd. Sam opened the door to a quite cafe and lead her father into the building, she ordered a tea for her father and a hot chocolate for herself.
This made Mortymer chuckle "You always loved hot chocolate didn't you," he had one question "Are they as good as the ones I made?" Sam shook her head but then relized "No papa." she always forgot her father's eyes had been burnt out by a mobster for protecting her.

Tyrone's head spun and his vision blacked out. He could feel her hand grasping his face and his entire being being sucked away through that soft skin of her hand. He fell to the ground, hitting his head on the pavement and knew no more.

Teisha got back into the car, "I'm going Mama! He probably just forgot and went on a walk or something, it wouldn't be the first time!" Teisha waited until her boyfriend got in the car to start it. She smiled sadly at him, "My dad's a little...strange. He just wanders off once in a while." Teisha stepped on the gas and roared out of the drive way, taking the corners at dangerous speeds. "Mama says that something happened before he met her and he's never really recovered. He pretends to be okay, but, he's just a little...strange." Teisha hadn't told her boyfriend about how she inherited powers from her Father, she figured it was better he didn't know. "So when do I get to meet your parents?"

All the time they'd been fighting, he'd been walking away. He was tired of the fighting, and the police would be here soon. He didn't want to get mixed up in that.
Though he was no fool. He encased his body in a fine force field to protect him from any stray attacks. He just continued walking.

Rogue had practice dealing with powerful new personalities but this Cloak person's powers were different then what she was used to.
Instead of heated fury, a chilly weight hit her chest. It seemed like the whole world was an enemy and there was no hope, no light. Her hands became dark and transparent like a shadow and her torn jumpsuit went gray, darkening as she mutated.
Rogue tried to step forward but the will to fight had drained from her. She lowered her head, struggling to use his powers and keep her own sanity.
She fell to the ground.
(Rogue is no longer mentally present. She is now in her own head in the thread Rogue's Sanity.)

Kiran Bowen smiled at Teisha. "My mother's a little strange too. She's also incredibly depressing to be around. She spends too much time moping about her lost beauty and former days as a supermodel or whatever she was." He raised his shoulder apologetically. "If you want to meet her..."
He turned his eyes out the window. A group of convicts in crimson jumpsuits worked at repair the hovertrain rails.

"Well, that is your family...but, it's up to you when I meet her." Teisha revved the engine at a stop sign and tore off down the road. "So, what's you future job gonna be? I'm gonna end up working small things, like my dad. How about you?" Teisha screeched to a stop, letting a kid in pink run across the road.
