Wolverine, one of the most dangerous men in the world and the best at what he does, slammed his claws into the chest of the training robot, pulling his arms out via the sides of the robot, effectively cutting it in half. He swung his leg up and kicked a second robot that was running up behind him, then slammed his claw into its back. He swung his claw round, slashing the ‘face’ of a third robot, then plunged it into the forehead of a fourth.
After tearing through a couple more robots, the simulation ended, no doubt by someone in the control room looking to save the school some money. Wolverine had been told before how much the robots cost to replace and repair. “C’mon!” Wolverine roared. “If you won’t let me have my fun, then take me on!” Wolverine kept his eyes on the people-shaped silhouettes in the control room windows.

"Sugah, restrain yourself a little." Rogue's calm voice betrayed a hint of amusement. "If you can. Ah don't want another lecture from Scott about how Xavier's pockets ain't endless....You want to fight me? Ah don't break as easy."
She stared down into the danger room and her eyes flickered over the smashed up robots. He was going to get that lecture - definitely - even if he didn't pay it no heed.
She opened the door to the control room and flew down to the danger room floor. The comforting slight heat of Shiro's - her - fire surrounded her like a blanket.
"Well short-stuff?"

“Is that a fact, kiddo?” Wolverine said, considerably less violent now that he knew who it was. She watched Rogue glide down to the Danger Room floor using one of her many abilities. “Well, why don’t we save the school a few bob*, lets see just how hard you are to break.” Wolverine smiled. Although he did enjoy going all out on the school robots - it made for good anger management - there was nothing quite like going to fists with a fellow X-Man. Especially someone like Rogue, who has given Wolverine a run for his money in the past.
* Bob - slang for money. It’s mainly an English word, but I could imagine Wolverine saying it.

"All right, hon." She regarded him, "Fire and claws or no?"
Personally she didn't care. She'd beaten a couple times but he'd put her in her place so often she almost knew she would lose. She removed her long black jacket and smiled at him.
"Ready when ya'll are, sugah."

“Well, you gotta love the traditions.” Wolverine smiled as he retracted his claws into his hands and held up his arms in a boxer pose. “I hope you’ve been practicing, kiddo. ‘Cause I ain’t pulling my punches.” And, practically before he’d even finished his sentence, Wolverine launched himself at Rogue, swinging his arm up from the left. The move was a lot more effective when he had his claws bared, but it would get the job done if Wolverine could land it right.

It hit Rogue squarely and her head snapped back. She gasped and spun her leg around trying to get him in the gut. She jumped back and rolled her eyes. "Of course, Ah been practicing ya lousy excuse for a gentleman."
She smiled and clenched her hands into fists. Her gloves creased and her palms grew damp. Gotta love Wolvie. He could always make you sweat.
Suddenly she heard the professor's voice in her head. Something was happening upstairs...Nightcrawler was leaving them!
"Raincheck, Logan!" She shouted, zipping into the air and hurrying to the upperlevels.
