Kurt was over it they just let the humans walk all over them it wasn't okay any more he wanted to do something about it but he wasn't going to be as extreme as Magneto just not as subtle as Xavier and the Xmen were. Now was the time he was leaving the Xmen he handed in his resignation and was saying his goodbyes he had arranged a team a long time ago he was just going to have to make a few calls in a moment. Xavier had treid to convince him but he didn't care for him any longer and had told him to shut up. He had told everyone that they were welcome to come with him to his new home but mostly everyone politely declined his offer. He grabbed his bags and headed for the door he was sad to be leaving but it was time.

"Crawler!" Rogue pushed past the other X-Men. "Crawler, you can't just leave! Let's work this out, hon. Xavier ain't so bad and you can't just give up and go your own way. We're a family."
Rogue skidded to a stop. She crossed her arms, not in a stubborn way but more like hugging herself. "Least, Ah thought we were."

He heard Rogue call out to him "Ah zis is true but Rogue I vish it vas zat simple, I vish to set mien brozers free but zat means hurting humans and Xavier vill not allow it." When he heard the family remark it was true he did think of Rogue as a sister "Yes ve are a family Rogue but I must go staying vould just make me an outcast Xavier may forgive but he iz like all people zey hold grudges."
He placed his suitcase down at his feet "I have a place in Canada vhere I have set up a base Rogue feel free to come vith me if you vish." he handed her a map of a natural park with an X marked on the spot where it was located. He smiled "And if you don't come please visit." he picked up the suitcase and smiled weakly.

Rogue liked to think that the professor was a better man then to hold a grudge. She liked to think this would all blow over and just be a temporary upset. Somehow, the look on Kurt's face told her otherwise.
What had went so wrong, so fast?
Rogue accepted the map. Canada? That was Wolvie's stomping grounds... she could understand Crawler going to England or Germany but what was in Canada for the blue elf.
Maybe he just needed some quiet to work through all of this. She glanced up at his face...nope, that was wishful thinking again.
Rogue put her glove to her lips, kissed it and placed her glove against his cheek. "Sure, Ah'll come sugah...to visit. Ah'm not ready to leave the X-Men."
They'd taken her in, a kid terrorist and taught her what it was like to be loved and accepted, to have a mission, to be a hero. And maybe that didn't mean so much to her brother but she'd rather cut out her heart then betray the X-Men.
"Keep in touch, Ah love ya, Crawler."

Kurt longed to remain apart of this family but that wouldn't work he had his own team to think about now he could see how this was hurting Rogue and that hurt him to see it, why had he gone down this path. Xavier's voice filled his head "Its not to late to stay Kurt." that was it "Stay out of mien head!!" he was tempted to go and kill the old man there and then but Xavier had done so much for mutant kind it was unethical. Xpeople turned to see Kurt having an argument with himself and that wasn't a funny sight to see. He looked at Rogue "Goodbye mien sister." he wiped a tear from his eye and walked past her to the door he knew Xavier would attempt to stop him again but he would not be persuaded.
He had arranged for one of his new associates to pick him up at the gates at one so he had half an hour to be annoyed by Xavier. Kurt opened the door and exited why must goodbyes be so hard it wasn't like he would never see them again.

Rogue watched him go. He looked angry.
She curled her fingers into fists and stared at him as he left. It wasn't fair. It wasn't right.
And there was nothing she could do about it. Rogue glared at Xavier for a moment, but she couldn't keep it up for long... He meant too much to her. Besides, she was quite in the dark about what he'd done to Crawler.
"Anyone else feel like jumping ship?" She asked bitterly, putting her hands on her hips. Rogue wasn't incapable of change but by nature she'd always been incredible stubborn and one-minded.

Nightcrawler walked down the path to the gate Rogue's words had cut him deeply, it wasn't jumping ship he would do all he could for the Xmen but not while Xavier was there. He pushed the gate open and exited out onto the street and waited for his ride to the airport he was never on time these days. The traffic rolled on by he thought of the good old days and cursed Xavier for bringing up those memories. He yelled within his head "Get out of my head!!" and then the images stopped, never had Xavier been so intrusive.
He placed his bag on the curb and sat on it with his head in his hands why were things never simple enough to please everyone he never wished to hurt Rogue or his friends. He couldn't do anything about it now it was done and nothing could reverse it no matter if he apologized he would still feel bad.

Rogue raced to her room. She was in such a tumult of emotion and pain that she was not going to just stand around and let the others see. She couldn't believe what was happening.
