Tandy felt the weight of light lessen. Then suddenly it began to tear from her, like someone was ripping her soul from her body. She dropped empty against a building, the aura of her light surrounding Gabriel and then disappearing.
"You have you're wish Tandy. Now live with it. "
Tandy watched him turn to leave, as nonchalant and unemotional as if he'd squashed a bug.
The alley grew incredible dark, shadows slipping over her and seeming to wind their way inside her. She was human...she was just as dark and evil as everyone else.
Tandy bounced to her feet and tapped Gabriel's shoulder.

He stopped and turned to look at her. His was ready for possible anger and retribution.
" Did you need something else, Tandy? "

Tandy had wanted to hit him. She still was trying to decide whether she should give into her anger and commit suicide just to get the satisfaction of decking him.
He wouldn't hurt. He was barely human, she realized it now. Her anger and her fists would make no impact on him.
Tandy blurted without thinking, "Why do you think you have the right to play god? How can you be so full of light and so cold? Did you follow me just to give me false hope and then condemn me? Why do you want to hurt us?" She saw something in his eyes, she hadn't noticed before. It was the personification of that word they'd discussed. Apathy.
He didn't care about anyone else. She had been a temporary amusement and now it was over.
"Never mind. I don't need answers, Gabriel." Her shoulders slumped. "I already have the answer. You're me...just I try not to hurt people."
She stepped back, scraping her messy hair from her dirty face and searching for her purse.

He looked back at her, then at where Cloak had just left.
" It looks to me like you've hurt plenty of people in your time.... with your powers. Whether you did it intentionally or through ignorance is irrelavant. In fact, if you did it unintentionally, it makes you more of a danger to those around you. " He looked at her half -disgusted with her self-righteous pitious act.
" With great power comes great responsibility, Tandy. If you can't take the responsibility for your actions, better you not be granted such power. I may not be a god, but I do have the power to do what i think is best. For now, I think you being without abilities...is best. " He looked at her a moment longer, then turned and began to walk again.

Tandy half-listened. She knew she'd struck something because he started to come back with verbal attack like he knew her and what she'd been through.
She knew her powers hadn't been the problem. It had been something wrong with her soul, her heart, everything that had made her a good hero. When she began to lose herself in the darkness, she did what she thought best, stopping herself from using her powers until she could do so responsibly.
Now, she had no powers. And she was still as lost and bitter as before.
"If you can't take the responsibility for your actions, better you not be granted such power. I may not be a god, but I do have the power to do what i think is best. For now, I think you being without abilities...is best. "
Tandy whirled around, struggling to control her tongue and failing. "Look, Gabriel, I did nothing wrong tonight. I may have been abrupt with Cloak, and I may not have guarded my tongue but YOU are the one who hurt Cloak and YOU are the one who has messed with my powers! Who was the villain tonight, Gabriel?"
Any lingering compassion for him had evaporated. He was deluded and too powerful for his own good. He spoke about being responsible with his powers and then he used them to hurt Cloak and used her to do it.
"Goodnight Gabriel." Tandy hissed and raced away. She was still shaking with anger.
