Ororo Munroe had recently hovered into an abandoned church. Now, her high-heels clicked as she walked forward, her black uniform somewhat of a camouflage but her white hair glinting with moonlight. Stepping onto the stage, the woman peered at the melted candles sealed to the banister and the pews, half broken, creaking somewhat. Waiting with bated breath, the goddess glanced around the crumbling church, I know there's someone in here, Emma doesn't make mistakes. The moon was hidden, only faint puddles of moonlight dripping through the windows and many missing bricks. As the woman's pupils were veiled by a white foggy sheen, the wind groaned and danced in circles around her. The clouds seemed to open suddenly, and the entire building was lit with moonlight from the newly seen moon.

(OOC: Posted as Carnage/Cletus Kasady!)
Carnage leaped up from behind the altar as the abandoned church was filled with moonlight, "So the weather woman found me. Maybe I should get better at Hide and go Seek. Oh Well." Then he shot his tentacles at Storm while laughing maniacally.

Ororo acted on instinct of the purest, one that cannot be "obtained" in any way except years of training. Throwing up a puff of wind that would act as a semi-formidable shield, the woman soared into the air, hovering in the rafters. Hello Carnage, I thought you would never make you presence known." Storm thrust forward her hands and a windy torrent of snow gushed from her fingers, freezing anything on contact. The goddess could merely hope that this would freeze Carnage and he would not be able to escape, or worse, continue fighting.

Carnage hissed when Storm dodged his tentacles. "Hello Carnage, I thought you would never make you presence known." Then as she thrust her hands forward, a gust of snowy, freezing wind was sent towards him. Carnage was surrounded by freezing air. He tried shooting a tentacle at Storm but could not muster up the strength. Eventually he managed to roll away.
"A bit cold in here, init?" Then Carnage shot his tentacles at the roof pulling down some pieces over her head.

Storm was not expecting the creature to get out of her little winter blast, and therefor was quite surprised when pieces of the ceiling came rushing toward her. Dodging mostly, Ororo was clipped by a piece of metal and sort of shivered to the floor, barely able to stay flying as she gave a gasp. A nasty slice in her shoulder was produced and scarlet began to ooze from it. Lifting her hands, the Wind Rider soared into the air, wind making an invisible band-aid, and her shoulder beginning to num as some arctic winds cooled it. "I was hoping I wouldn't need to put this beautiful building into any danger, but....." The rest of her statement was drowned as wind flooded from every place it was able to squeeze through. Gale wind twisted into a small cyclone, and a puffy black cloud had accumulated under and on the rafters. Hail began to fall from the cloud and the cyclone began to, not only progress forward toward Carnage, but to grasp hailstones and chuck them deadly hard at him.

Carnage was attempting to retreat as all hell broke loose. The church was being turned upside down as Carnage was hit by hailstone after hailstone. The wind had forced him down to the ground. And tempatures were turning freezing. "Whooo..... turned off.... th... the... heat?"

Ororo smirked widely, not allowing her liking of this be hidden from her face. Finally, Storm caused so much water to fall from the clouds swirling over the ceiling, that it was as if someone dumped a lake inside the place. With a final gesture, and grunt of concentration, the liquid that had just made contact with the ground froze instantly. As the fog cleared, the goddess looked down toward were Carnage had been moments before, hoping for him to still be there, keeping the clouds scuttling ominously over head for she feared the worst.
