I had this idea that we could try out role-playing using stats and what not from the murpg and the marvel site biographies. I don't mean like the whole site doing it. Maybe we could just try it for a thread. Or maybe in war planet. Before I explain everything I'll wait for your views and comments on this.
Also for those of you unfamilar with that, I mean you use stones to do an action and have a number of points for intelligence, strength etc.

I think that we should try it an see if it works well. And we should have everyone vote in a poll. But, that is just what I think.

Yeah this would've been good as a poll. But let's just see what people think anyway.

Stats would be an interesting concept, but the problem is managing it. Even in the canon sources, characters' powers seem to flux like crazy, so it'd be tricky to manage. And then of course there's always the fan biases one will get.
I say we can at least test it, but nothing in concrete just yet.

while I think it would be good as a guideline, I think it'd been too much of a hinderence if stats were the factor in winning a fight. I prefer using combat as a way to tell a story. I've been in rps where a point system is used to determine fights and the rp just turns into people doing training threads to up their stats, rather than rping to further a story. If thats where this would go, I'd say no.
